HOW TO GET TO LAMPEDUSA

From Porto Empedocle you can board the SIREMAR ferry, with or without your car, to the Pelagie Islands. The journey to Lampedusa takes 8 hours. There is a once a day connection from Porto Empedocle (7 km from Agrigento) to Lampedusa via Linosa.

The outward journey is nocturnal. The ferry departs every night at 24:00, except in bad weather or on days off, and arrives at Lampedusa, after a short stop of 30-40 minutes for unloading operations at Linosa, at 08:15.

It is also possible to book a cabin for the night. The return journey on the other hand takes place during the day. The ferry departs from Lampedusa every morning at 10:30 and arrives in Porto Empedocle at 18:00.
